FALL
TOUR: October 22-November 16, 2007
We've extended our popular Spring 2007 tour into the Fall!
The humorous antics of foxes and crows, ants and grasshoppers, tortoises
and hares all serve to remind us of how foolish - or wise - we can be.
The wisdom of Aesop is over two thousand years old but it remains fresh
and useful today. These timeless fables remind us of the folly of greed,
the consequences of laziness and the importance of treasuring the life
we have.
(Grade
Level: PreK-6) |
Teachers' comments from our Spring 2007 tour:
· “I
have read
Aesop's Fables
to [my 5th grade students] several times
this year ( I teach Language Arts), so it was a great treat for
them to see some of these stories in action. Your actors,
choice of fables and entire production exceeded our expectations
in every way!”
· “The
students loved
Aesop's Fables!
They want to have them back again next year! We also had a lot
of fun in the acting classes...imagination, concentration,
cooperation, body and voice:) Thank you for the
opportunity.”
· “Oh
what a wonderful day! Thank you so much! My class had the best
learning day!”

SPRING TOUR: February 12 -
March 21, 2008
Your students will love our puppets!
Fairy
tales are passed on from generation to generation because they teach us
important lessons about life. First published by the Brothers
Grimm in 1812, this adaptation in a style of Japanese puppet theatre
called bunraku tells the story of Rapunzel, a beautiful
young maiden locked in a tower by a not-so-scary witch, and the dashing
young prince who plots to rescue her.
(Grade Level: PreK-6) |
