Where is the
Phoenix?
The Phoenix Theatre is located in the heart of downtown Columbus, Ohio. All of our
performances are in the Vern Riffe Center, at the corner of State and High Streets.
We're across the street from the Statehouse, City Center Mall, and the former Lazarus
building. (map)

Where do I park?

Parking is easy, affordable . . . and indoors!
Evenings and weekends: Park at a meter on the street (free after 6 PM and on
Sundays) or right inside the Vern Riffe Center. It's only $2.00, and you can take an
elevator to the theatre. Enter the Riffe Center garage at the back of the building,
on Front Street.
Weekdays: We recommend parking in one of the City Center Garages (enter the garage
directly under City Center Mall from Third Street; enter the garage just south of City
Center Mall from Rich or Main Streets). Rates vary.
Buses: Columbus Public Schools generally utilize the Ft. Hayes lot. Other
districts may decide to use the Veteran's Memorial lot ($3.00) across from COSI on Broad
Street. |

What is
your exchange policy for tickets?
Single ticket sales are final, but if you have a season subscription and can't make it to
your ticketed date for any show, you can exchange your tickets to another performance of
that show by calling the CAPA Ticket office at (614) 469-0939.
Important note about ticket exchanges: If you've subscribed to the Phoenix in the
past, you know how easy exchanging your tickets has always been. Now that the CAPA
Ticket Office is handling our box office business, it's still easy to exchange.
There is one important change, however; you must return your old tickets before
Ticket Office staff can make the change in their ticketing system. You
can do this by:
- Mailing in your old tickets to 39 East State
St., Columbus OH 43215
- Bringing them to the CAPA Ticket Office at
39 E. State St.
- Tearing the tickets in half, making a copy
of them and faxing the copy to the Ticket Office
If you would like to exchange to an earlier
date than the one you have, you can also bring the tickets to Will Call on the day of the
performance; please note that this option is dependent on seat availablity on the day of
the performance.

How do I
audition for a show?/How do I get my child in a show?
The Phoenix primarily casts professional adult actors in our
productions. Occasionally, when a script calls for a child actor, we
will hold special auditions. Parents should be aware, however, that we
hold rehearsals and performances for schools during the daytime. Announcements of local
auditions and calls for resumes are placed online and in local newspapers.
Can't make it to a regular audition? Send us your resume and headshot anyway:
